What People Are Saying…

"Good time southern rock and roll, tightly arranged and performed. I like the vibe, makes me want to get up and dance. Reminds me of Marshall Tucker Band. I'll find a place for it on an Aspenbeat show."

— Andrea Young - President of Aspenbeat, Aspen CO

""I listened to the album and I must say, I'm impressed! You guys really sound good together (but I'm sure you get that all the time :-)). I love the entire album and the title track is really good! I love the way the album starts out with Instant Replay - heart pumpin jammer to get you going..."

  • 01 - Instant Replay

We been down the road a time er’ two,
but I still get that feeling when I’m looking at you.
Another year older, you're still looking the same.
You knock me out with those big green eyes,
Your long tall legs and those american thighs,
Call me crazy, I’m still mad about you.
Come on baby, let’s go see about you…

    I need an
Instant replay, you can't go wrong,
with an Instant replay, all night long,
Instant replay, till you say when,
I need an instant replay, lets do it again

Time sure fly's when you're having fun
Like sittin' in a tub on a beach in the sun
Waiting for the moment, well baby it's the moment again
Lets take a drive down memory lane
You jump in the back, and I'll drive you insane
Call be Bad Company...can't get enough of your love
Come on baby, you know what i'm thinking

    I need an
Instant replay, you can't go wrong,
with an Instant replay, all night long,
Instant replay, till you say when,
I need an instant replay, lets do it again

We been down the road a time er’ two,
but I still get that feeling when I’m looking at you.
Another year older, you're still looking the same.
You knock me out with those big green eyes,
Your long tall legs and those american thighs,
Call me crazy, I’m still mad about you.
Come on baby, let’s go see about you…

  • 02 - Nine Mile Road

He pulls on the old hard hat,
    Another paycheck busted flat,
He looks at the clock and wishes it was time to go home.
Everyday it's the same old thing,
Pick up that hammer, and give er’ a swing,
He hopes to hit the lotto and live the American dream.

But he don't know what he don't know,
Anytime could be his time to go,
He’s gotta live each day, put his foot on the gas and roll.

He’s on the nine mile road.
Runnin’ down a rainbow lookin’ for that pot of gold.
He’s on the nine mile road.
With one foot on the brake, he’s only gonna get old.

She's headed to the office today
A double caramel latte on the way
She's got a lot on her mind, she's really got a busy day.
Water heater's broken, there's trouble at home,
Her husband took her money, now she's all alone,
She needs to hit the lotto to live the American dream.

But she don't know what she don't know
Anytime could be her time to go
She’s gotta live each day, put her foot on the gas and roll

She’s on the nine mile road.
Runnin’ down a rainbow lookin’ for that pot of gold.
She’s on the nine mile road.
With one foot on the brake, she’s only gonna get old.

The road is narrow, the road is long,
but someone’s gonna be there to help you along,
to lighten your load, help you to the the other side.
But I don't know what you don't know
Anytime could be my time to go
I gotta live each day, put my foot on the gas and roll

I'm on the nine mile road.
Runnin’ down a rainbow lookin’ for that pot of gold.
I'm on the nine mile road.
Runnin’ down a rainbow lookin’ for that pot of gold.

    Nine mile road.
    Nine mile road.
    Nine mile road.

  • 03 - When I'm With You

You taught me about the laughter
And you told me not to cry
I'll cherish each day that we had together
Til I'm old and it's time for my soul to fly

Cause when I'm with you, under the clear blue sky
Nothin' to do, but watching the day go by
Your love shines right through, and I know the reason why
That nothing can destroy me when I'm with you

You taught me about the smile,
And what's wrong and what's right,
That I should stay in the moment,
and try with all my might,
and cherish each day that we had together
Til I'm old and it's time for my soul to fly

Lived mosta' my life, never really knowing what I'm after
Then in a single moment, you got me caught-up in your rapture
Your love burns so bright, like a fourteen karat sunrise
No more stormy nights, I see a new world in your eyes

  • 04 - Hands Of Time

I hear a voice in the distance,
Tells a story of days gone by,
We held the future before us,
Dreams knew no limits and hopes were so high,
Pages turned forever, by the hands of time.

I see a face in the moonlight,
    Eyes like diamonds, familiar smile,
Tender look says how are you,
Sure great to see you, let’s talk for awhile,
So many moments tossed away, by the hands of time.

    Yea time
    Hands of time
    And time goes by
    Hands of time
    Don’t cry
    Don’t waste no time
    It goes by

And time waits for no one
Like a Summer cloud, drifts on by
One day here, next day gone
    And the hands wave bye-bye.
    Bye-bye

    Time knows no mercy
Hands keep movin', wave bye bye
Hour glass turns, the next day gone

I feel a touch in the darkness
The warmth of a memory kept deep inside
    Just enough to remind me
Of how much it hurts to say goodbye
You gotta play the cards your dealt, by the hands of time

    Yea time
    Hands of time
    And time goes by
    Hands of time
    Don’t cry
    Don’t waste no time
    It goes by, goes by

  • 05 - Now I Can Bleed

I know it ain't been easy, baby...
I'm not the man that you deserved
But I tried to do my best for you...
Never knowing how I made you hurt
But when you told me that you were leaving...
I just slumped down on my knees
And I prayed for God to save us...
While you were prayin' to be set free
    But now it's through, Baby...
    Now I can bleed...

You and I never saw the same things...
And a lonely house don't make a home
But I can never make that up to you...
Now I've got to make it on my own
But when you told me that you were leaving...
I just slumped down on my knees
And I prayed for God to save us...
While you were prayin' to be free
    And we're through, now Baby...
    Now I can bleed...

It's all about the little things...
Between a man and his wife
The tiny cuts you left on me...
    Have marked me for life

When you told me that you were leaving...
I just slumped down on my knees
And I prayed for God to save us...
While you were prayin' to be free.

  • 06 - Picking Up The Pieces

    Another roadhouse, another show
An hour to sunrise, grab my pay and go
It ain’t always easy, chasin’ down a dream
Too many times you come home to find your world ripped at the seams
Eviction notice, taped to the door
The ring I gave my baby layin’ on the floor, and

I’m left, pickin’ up the pieces of
    Another life I left behind
It’s fadin’ fast in my, rear-view mirror
Startin’ over, gets harder every time

Another crossroads truck stop, sleepin’ in the van
Another round of payin’ my dues n’ playin’ anywhere I can
Strummin’ ‘neath the streetlights, won’t give up the chase
I make the next town on the loose change in my six string case
No time for cryin’, in this life I choose to live
Just keep on tryin’, and give it all I have to give, and

I’m still, pickin’ up the pieces of
    Another life I left behind
It’s fadin’ fast in my, rear-view mirror
Just gets harder, but I keep the dream alive

It’s a lonely life, bein’ a music man
Broken dreams and lost love, and home is where your feet land
So many times you ask yourself, is it time to turn the page?
But you know you’re where you belong, when you stand-up on that stage, so

I keep on, pickin’ up the pieces of
    Another life I left behind
It’s fadin’ fast in my, rear-view mirror
And it’s worth the heartache, to keep the dream alive

    Keep the dream alive…
Keep pickin’ up the pieces, oh yea
    Pickin’ up the pieces

  • 07 - She's My Baby

    16 days,
    16 nights,
    16 kisses, and
    16 fights,
    24 hours a day,
    365 days a year,
    I love her.
    She's my baby.

    When we were just kids,
She was a friend of mine.
    A skinny little girl,
    And I was so unkind.
    But then something happened
    On a blue sky day.
    She stole my heart.
    And made a get-away.

    16 days,
    16 nights,
    16 kisses, and
    16 fights,
    24 hours a day,
    365 days a year,
    I love her.
    She's my baby.

    When we left school
    We went in separate ways
    You went west
And I was lost in a daze
    But you came back
and made a blue sky day..
    We said our vows.
And we were on our way.

    16 days,
    16 nights,
    16 kisses, and
    16 fights,
    24 hours a day,
    365 days a year,
    I love her.
    She's my baby.

  • 08 - Freedom Blues

Kick off your shoes, take off your hat,
People lemme tell you where it’s at.
The same thing happens every day,
    Another Freedom is taken away.
Don’t give up your right to choose –
You’ll soon be singin’, the Freedom Blues.

Blessed to live in a free country,
We must fight for our liberty.
It’s our God-given right of our birth,
Protect it until we leave this Earth.
Don’t give up your right to choose –
You’ll soon be singin’, the Freedom Blues.

The government that governs least is best,
Today’s politicians can’t past the test.
Your vote gives you the power to choose,
    Vote away your Freedom Blues.
Don’t give up your right to choose –
You’ll soon be singin’, the Freedom Blues.
    The Freedom Blues.
    Them Freedom Blues.

Don’t let it slip away, Fight for it every day Don’t let it slip away, Fight for it every day
